Sobey School's mission states that through experiential education and the creation and mobilization of knowledge, we inspire and empower diverse learners to lead thriving enterprises and communities. A key and important experience we offer is entrepreneurship. We offer education, research and program support for Nova Scotia's start up community and for our global network of students and alumni.
The new Arthur L. Irving Entrepreneurship Centre at Saint Mary's offers training, consulting, events, student projects and skill development programs that help build our entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Centre for Leadership Excellence - The ImpactLab and other projects of the CLE are based around social entrepreneurship and social innovation.
Entrepreneurial Ecosystems - Ellen Farrell has been a pioneer in mapping the Atlantic region's entrepreneurial ecosystems. Her findings have revealed that although we are well-connected, we are not leveraging those connections to boost startup productivity and success.
