Academic 

• Applicants will possess an Undergraduate degree (any discipline) from an accredited university.  

• At least a B average (3.0/4.3 GPA) or equivalent. 

• 2-3 years' work experience is preferred but not required. 

• We look for demonstrated leadership qualities. 

Language Requirements 

Applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate their English language proficiency (as outlined in the Graduate Academic Regulation 1e) as follows;  

• Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) - Note: 0958 is the appropriate TOEFL code for Saint Mary's University, Minimum iBT 92, with no band below 20, with an Essay Rating of 5.0 or above. 
• International English Language Testing System (IELTS), Minimum 6.5 with no individual score below 6.0 

Application Process 

Applicants are required to submit the following: 

• Transcripts: We will accept uploaded unofficial transcripts for evaluation purposes. Applicants must upload a grading scale with their unofficial transcripts. Successful applicants will be required to submit official final transcripts. 
• Two letters of reference. When you have completed the referee section of your online application, your referees will be sent a secure link in order to provide a reference. 
• Applicants will submit an up-to-date curriculum vitae, indicating relevant working experiences. 
• Complete the online application form and provide the $125 processing fee.

April 1, 2027 - International applicants 
June 30, 2027 - Canadians/permanent resident applicants
